Im impressed with most of the mages who attend the raids and are getting above 3.5 k dps. This should be the MINIMAL dps you put out on a raid night with all buffs, food, and flasks, There are some mages doing well over 4k which is needed for 10 heroic toc 25 toc ect,

I inspected some of the mages and you know who you are by your low rated gear, I suggest going to wowarmory and seeing what gear you can have upgraded without going on Guild raids such as Uld and toc . By looking on wowarmory, you can compare your gear to what upgrade you can get at 5 man heroics, naxx 10 and 25, and even farm emblems for your tier 8.5 and up sets, I myself have emblem gear t8.5 + and doing well over 4k close to 5k dps so this is well within your limit. So compare your armor and weapon rating should be above 220.

Also you should have every piece of Armor and weapon and offhand enchanted, and tailor enchants such as legs and head and shoulder from your rep.

With all our mages at the top of the dps flag pole we can help the raid progress and get better gear for all of us. Its very important as well to sign up for the raids and to be early and ready to go including FULL repair, flasks, food buffs, ect.
